Hey all,
I've been lurking around for the past week or so and realy like the site! I don't currently have a dane but one (or a two, or more) is in my future. I'm a college student studying to, hopefully, get into vet school. My first experiance with danes was with my Aunt and Uncle beloved pet Golith, who unfortunatly died suddenly at 5 mo. old. He was from a byb who didn't health test her dogs.... there was no necropsy but the vet thought it was probably heart falure ;8 At that point I realized how important it is to realy know both the ins and outs of the breed you own and the breeder well. So thats why I'm here, to learn, before I get my first dane. The time horizon is may 2005 onward, after college graduation. So I have lots of time to get involved, learn, and find a breeder I like :7 From what I've seen so far I know this place will be a valuable resource, thanks!
