Hello, everybody.
I'm a new member from Southern CA. I have been visiting this site for the past year and a half, to do all my research before commiting myself to the dane breed. I have a 9 month old beautiful male mantle great dane, who is the center of my life, named Porter. And I must say, I will never be without a dane again. This site has everything a dane owner needs. I have no idea why it took me so long to become a member. So a big hello to everyone in DOL land from my dane Porter and me.

Welcome to DOL, from a fellow So. Cal resident. Where abouts are you located? We're in the San Gabriel Valley, but we have lots of Dane owners all around So. Hey everybody,

Thanks for the great welcome. Me and Porter(aka Porter Rico) live in the Seal Beach area, but have a place in Lake Arrowhead and visit quite a bit. Porter's mom was a pregnant rescue dane from AZ. And the great people I got him from moved out to Ca. I was lucky enough they would let a college student have one of their babies. His mom was BARF fed, but Porters on Chicken Soup Adult. Hes my special boy, here are some pics. One is his very first day home, doing a sit command. And the other is him a few days old. Youll probably have to cut and paste the link. I havent put it in my profile yet. Enjoy!!!

Hi Rachel,
I see your danes pictures all the time in the BIG DOG store. I met, I guess the owner ( a very nice lady), and she invited me and Porter in to have a look at the board where all the pics. of you beautiful danes are. And treated Porter to a cookie. We were up a couple of weeks ago to survey the damage. I couldnt beleive how bad it was. Glad to here your place was ok, ours thankfully made it too. I'll post something here on DOL to let you know when were comming up.

Hey! WELCOME TO DOL!!!!!!!!! That is so cool! I have a fawn boy named Andy. Andy is neutered & is just short of 1 1/2 years old. He LOVES all dogs, especially danes. We should get our dogs together sometime. That would be so fun, I love to meet more dane people in the region. What part of southern California do you live in?
