I adopted a year old merle from a breeder back in March. Brutus, has been such a hoot! We now have decided to get him a little brother, a fawn pup from the same breeder. He soon will be coming home to us in 2 months.
I have had nothing but Danes since I was 8 years old and now I have converted my wife into a Dane lover. We have decided not to have children but, rather have Danes! We cannot wait for our newest addition 'Clyde' to come to his forever home!
Anyhoo, We wanted to thank the participants of this site for providing a forum and sources of information for new mothers and fathers to use!! Thanks, Scott and Laurie Garrison

Congratulations on the new addition to the family! You'll have to post some pictures for us!

I don't have human children either.... Just a whole house full of furbabies!

I'm so excited for you! But I do want to say that I have 3 small children and they love the danes as much as I do!! They are the best of friends.
I also, have converted my spouse. He doesn't know what hit him!!
The best of luck to you with your babies.

ps..I'll post some pictures of my Lucy as soon as I figure out how!!:-)

Welcome to DOL. We look forward to seeing many pics and hearing many stories about your furbabies. And on another note, my danes are great with my daughter. They are very protective and love to play. They play very differently with her than they do with hubby and me. They are so kind and gentle. Congrats and keep us posted!!

Hi everyone! I have been patiently waiting for updates on our new puppy. He just opened his eyes this week and he is on schedule for us to pick up in February. We are very excited. He has already received his first care package from us. We want to make sure he is familiar with our scents...lol

I can wait to see Clyde and Brutus interact. I have sneaky feeling that Clyde will be momma's puppy. Ah, well...it is going to be a blast....
