Prayers Needed

A friend of mine's brother had a baby 2 days ago and the right side of the baby's heart is not working.
they took him to Memphis for open heart surgery and predicted he wouldn't survive.
Please pray for this baby and his family. the baby's name is Jeremy Phillips Jr.

well i've got some good news about Jeremy.
they ended up taking him to Vanderbuilt (sp?) instead of Memphis.
They gave the family three options, let him die, have a three part surgery, or wait for a heart transplant.
They decided to go with the surgery. they've planned the surgery for early next week becuase he seems to be doing okay for right now and they are waiting until he's stronger.
Everything in his body is okay but his heart. They said that he's just not getting enough oxygen and that if they opted against the surgery he'll die in 30 days.
thanks so much for the prayers, my friend's daughters birthday party was canceled because of this unfortunate circumstance, let's all pray that they can have it later with baby Jeremy there.

Well Friday they took Jeremy off the oxygen and said that he seemed to be doing very good.
He still has to have the surgery but he's getting stronger.

even better news!!!
He survive his open heart sur. but they decided to leave his chest open and are going to keep his sedated for the next three days. they said that if all goes well he'll be home in about 10 days!!
