Hello,
I'm from Cleveland Ohio and wanted to give a shout out and introduce myself. I'm 43 years young, love pets of all kinds. I had a Dane earlier in life and she was my favorite pet of all - Tammy was her name.
I just recently decided to get back into the Danes and on Friday I'm going to meet my new friend. I'm real excited!!

I just wanted to say THANKS A MILLION to all of you who made me feel so welcome. I can't believe the wealth of information that is here. I've learned so much since I joined.
This is the most wonderful resource on the NET! I'm addicted to it, I've spent hours reading the posts.
Again, Thank You!

Hey Tim! While you're reading take a look at this site too.

I feed mine Oxydrops, nzymes and vitamin C in addition to his kibble (Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul) with warm water added.
Have you had an opportunity to see what some of the ideal things are to have "on hand" when you bring your new guy home? There are several links.
GOOD LUCK and post pics of him when you have a chance!

Thank you all so much! Gandalf - my Merle Mantle Male. We are getting settled together. One thing that I didn't expect is the he follows me EVERYWHERE I go! Is this a common thing?
The Potty Trainging is going very well after a few suggestions from the breeder. Thanks so much for that.
Thanks again for all of the suggestions on this board and all of the wonderful information here.
Tim Ryan proud Papa of Gandalf the Grey.
PS I'm already thinking about another one as a pal for Gandalf.

Hello and welcome! Congrats on the new pup!
My Bree is 18 weeks old. We got her from a shelter on Oct. 19. She's already such an integral part of my life, that I can't picture life without her!

Thanks so much to everyone. This is my new favorite place on the net -- not that I have much time left. My new pup is keeping me running everywhere in the house!
