I just wanted to say hello to everyone! My husband and I just bought a Dane puppy, he isn't ready to come home from the breeder yet so we don't even have him but I have already read some really helpful hints for when he does come home.
This is my first dane although I have wanted one for many, many years.
My new baby is a fawn male and his name is Brutus (the gender, color and name were decided on a long time ago :) )
Brutus is being cropped this week and the breeder tells me it will be 10-14 days after that before he will be ready to come home, she wants to make sure he is healed and the first taping is done before she lets him go. We did go down to visit him this past Saturday, he is just adorable! I am so excited! I can't wait for him to come home!
