My First Show

I just wanted to thank all who encouraged me to go to a dog show b/c it was absolutely fabulous! There were 17 Danes in all, and in my opinon they were all beautiful. Of course, I'm no judge ;). There was one brindle male who could've probably looked me square in the eye...without standing on his hind legs! However I must confess I am only 5'1". Anyway I had tons of fun and look forward to future trips to the dog show. Oh yeah and I met Zeus' Mom (Kendra) who is as cool in person as she is online. It was so nice to meet and trade stories with another Dane lover :).

Hey Rebecca! You are a very cool person too, and I can't wait until Zeus and Atticus can meet each other! Everytime I think about that show now, that brindle dog is the first dog that comes to my mind...what an impressive and memorable dog he was! And I think about that fawn male that took my husband by surprise from behind! What well-behaved and loving dogs they were! I can't wait until another show is held in the area! I think I am gonna end up being a dog show groupie! :D

Oh, by the way, I did some research on that brindle, and I am almost certain that he has Ch. Calico Rocks Luv V Temira behind him, who was co-owned by Linda Arndt of Blackwatch Danes! If there is anyone ou there who knows how to search pedigrees and can help me figure it all out, I would appreciate the help! I think I have found my new favorite pastime!!!

Let me know if there is anything I can help you with pedigree wise, I have Owlwatch in my pedigrees and an Owlwatch Stud dog...(Phil & Jane Gray of Owlwatch and Linda of Black watch are best friends/co-breeders ect). I do extensive pedigree research so can give you lots of stuff! Also I have great links for pedigree stuff (see link page):

That's awesome you found out his pedigree. I don't know the first thing about researching that stuff. I, too, am anxious for Zeus and Attie to meet :). I met another black Dane at the dog park today, very beautiful girl. Those black Danes sure are nice and shiney! Oh btw if you should happen to become a groupie let me know. I'll join the club, too!
