hello!! I was asked to give a 13 month old male dane a new home..I have had him for 2 days now and he seems wonderful!! The question that i need to ask is his former owners had his ears cropped and never took him back to have them wrapped or anything and they lay over the top of his head..Cute..But i was wondering if it is too late to have the vet to start wrapping them now??? This is my first dane
and i am sure i will have a ton more questions as the days go by!!
Thanks
Marsha

Hi and Welcome. I think it is too late on the ears, but someone with more experience can give you the answer for sure.

Welcome Welcome,

Congrats on the new dane!! I think it is to late to make his ears stand. The cartlige has already harded by that age, from what I have read. But I have a natural eared dane, so hopefully some cropped dane owners can chime in and help!

Welcome to the board!
You may want to post the ear question in the ear cropping, taping forum.
