Dane Walk - 2003
Pena Adobe Park
Vacaville
Sunday, August 10th
11:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Please join us for the Dane Walk 2003. Meet Rescue Danes and the wonderful people who have adopted them and have an informal picnic. All Rescue Danes and their owners will be introduced and given their due recognition for adopting these wonderful animals. Walk with the Danes around the park. We will have a raffle with some great Great Dane items!
Everyone is asked to get sponsors to help raise funds to support Great Dane Rescue. Last year this event raised over $4000, which helped us place over 80 Danes in new homes. All contributions are tax deductible and go directly to Great Dane Rescue. There is no minimum donation and we will be pleased with whatever you are able to solicit. We hope you will plan on joining us for Dane Walk/Reunion 2003!
What is a Dane/Walk?
This is a time to meet other Rescue Dane owners, make new friends and catch up on what's going on with Rescue.
While this is technically a fund-raiser, the overriding purpose is for Dane people to get together and have fun.
Logistics:
There is no parking fee at Pena Adobe Park and parking is close by.
What should I bring?
o A brown bag lunch
o A chair, shade umbrella or tarp, dog bowl for water.
What will be provided?
o Water and ice for dogs
o Cookies and drinks for humans.

The City of Vacaville is being strict about requiring ALL attendees to fill out the waiver below. If you plan on attending this event, you MUST return the bottom portion of this flyer PRIOR to the day of the Dane Walk/Reunion.
This also helps us plan on the number of people & danes attending.
