I picked her up Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. We had decided to name her Aspen since they had no information on her at all. She is so thin. And she was so dirty from living in that kennel. But she is so full of love. She looks at you as if to say are you going to keep me forever? I will always be good and love you... It breaks my heart. She has the biggest and saddest brown eyes. We had to bath her twice with medicated shampoo. We have her on satin balls (in our house they are called "fat burgers") to get some of her weight back. She had a work up done at the vets and had worms (of course) so she was treated for that. And other than that she is healthy. She really needs to gain weight but that will come, I want to do that slowly. Crystal my blind and deaf is having a hard time of it right now excepting another dog in the house ;-) so we have to keep them separate. Hopefully time will bring them together :-( . Aspen has the softest fur I have ever felt on a dane before it is almost like touching velvet. I've got some picutres of her I will post within the next couple of days. I just wanted to let everyone know how she is doing.
