I snapped a picture of Karma standing next to my mom. She turned 8 months 5 days ago. She is about 29 1/2 in tall and 89 lbs. How much growth can I expect after this?

I know it isn't a good stack, but what do you think of her? thanks!

She's very pretty. It looks like she has straightened out since one of your last posts.

I think she is very elegant and pretty. She got a great overall line. I love her head and her neck line. Her ears look great. Her mask is not fully colored in, but that is minor. Her back is nice and straight. Her hind legs show a good angle. She stands straight on all four cat paws. Her cheast is not fully developed, but that is normal at her age.

She still has some growth bones (as we call it here, meaning her joint on the front legs are still got nobbs).

With 8 month she is hardly finished, she will grow from now on slower, and fill out until she is two. But I think she has show potential. I can imagine how she will look as an adult :)

Hi! I know you have been concerned about her size. Dakota, which is petite for a female, was hovering an average of 94-96 lbs until a month before her second birthday. Then, after she passed her 2nd birthday she gained another 5 lbs. Now, she is 2 years, 8 months old and she weighed in at 105 lbs. I have noticed recently that she is beefing up still and she is very active playing in daycare and agility (not fat). I think you have plenty of time. Hope this gives you happy hopeful thoughts about her growth. I have heard they can mature up to the age of 3 and now I believe it.

thanks for the comments! All very helpful. I think she is a pretty girl too, but she was sold on a limited contract so she will be fixed and tacked (pexy) after a year old (personal reasons, I feel best about).

She is a goof ball, and I think if her legs weren't screwy when she was little, she would have been sold to me as a show prospect, but that's the way it goes I guess... maybe there will be some small local shows that will allow spayed dogs to show where I am moving.... thinkabc that would be fun!

Do they have those? That would be awesome!

Your girl looks VERY nice. I definitely see she has changed a lot since she has gotten older. As for size, I would say she is normal. Krypt is 7 months old, 28.5 inches high, and 80 lbs. I would be happy to see her at Karma's size in a month.

I have heard of small local shows sponsered by kennel clubs where anyone can enter their dog just for fun. Just a fun day kinda show. I think that would be great! But we'll see I guess!
