Critisize my Dane (Body)

Tell me what you think of his physique.
23 months-He is around 34" tall and weighs 125lbs
I would like to know what his flaws as a dane are.
And what his good parts are.
Too skinny?
Sorry curiosit has gotten the best of me!

He's high in the rear and also is straight in the rear. He's not too skinny. They start filling out between two and three years of age.

Ok I see that. I was just wondering because I know you are only supposed to see 1 to 2 ribs but sometimes you can slightly see more but barely

I agree, he is a little high in the rear, but his weight looks perfect. I love his big old block head!

I have to ask though, is he black or blue? I'm sure it's posted somewhere but I don't recall seeing it. I have often wondered this before, it's hard to tell in the pictures I have seen. Just when I think he is blue, then in another picture he looks black. *L* Just curious.

Lol, He is black. Outside in the pictures he looks blue, it must be my camera. Inside you can tell he is black, plus he is dirty from running in the woods. I will give him a bath this weekend when i'm not working and post more pictures. Plus I will use the zoom groom that im going to buy so he will look sharp!

That's what I thought, but his coat really does change colors depending on the light! *L* I thought he looked blue in the one where he is half laying on the couch and half on the floor too. His coat is so dark and shiny. He is a handsome boy for sure. dance2

Thanks. I just adore them!! :D I very much like the merles too. I have to say that fawns will probably always be my favorite but, since Apollo has come along, pain in my butt that he is most of the time, *L* I am slowly becoming very drawn to the white deafies!

I really like his weight as well. His coat is nice and healthy as well. I love seeing a nice glossy coat. I am a fan of the bigger heads and he really has a nice square head. He is a handsome boy.

Aww thanks! yayI just wanted to know what everyone thought since I didn't get him from a high quality breeder. Where would I get bag balm?

You can get Bag Balm anywhere. The most convenient is probably at your local drug store. It comes in a cute little green can and is wonderful stuff!

try walmart for bag balm. despite the name, its in a green square tin can in pet section.
