HI everyone. New to Danes and just added a 5 month old to our family. She is such a love bug. I purchased her on 7/3/09 so we are still have some TLC to give her. She was out of a litter of 17
They kept 2 black girls and a Harelquin to decide which one the son was going to show in 4-H and of course they went with color. She is a skinny only 68.7 lbs at approximately 30 inches. So yes SKINNY she was low girl on the totem pole with her sisters and shame on them for free feeding!! After defleaing (they claimed comfortis was given 6/27) and worming for surprise tapeworms! I finally have her eating alot better at 3 cups in AM and 3 cups PM and on a better dog food. They were free feeding the pups puppy chow I have put her on Iams HealthyNaturals. I am sure there are many IAMS haters but has been a good food for my guys with good stools, weight, and coats. So will see how it works with Molly. Her coat is poor too. Hence worms, fleas and puppy chow
So anyways My mom helped me get photos of her tonight so we can see now and again in a few months. I am keeping her ears natural for I really like her ear set. I hope to maybe dabble some in the show ring depending how she matures out and GREAT socialization. Plus, I think nice to have a natural set girl with a good ear set. (Not a big Cropping fan sorry) Yes I know she has some white on her chest, dad was a Harelquin, and less desirable, but hey NO dog is perfect. Her topline is better than showing in these photos. I think she has a nice shoulder and upper arm. Her chest I think is very nice especially for a puppy. Her Croup is steep?? So give me your HONEST opinions if you can for my mom is not a photographer and trying to explain well, you know lmao. Than hopefully we can re-evalute in a few months. Maybe get lucky and Hubby will actually help me with sideshots. I won't hold my breath. LOL So here she is Majesty's Good Golly Mrs. Molly "Molly"

sorry, have to agree. She is lacking overall breed type and there are many other things you can do with her, and cheaper things too, that will help with socialization!
I would spay her and love her as a great and pretty PET! Enjoy her! glad she is with you now where she is getting the care she deserves! take care! wave2

not going to hate you ;) Asked for honest Opinions. Wasn't intent on showing I have my Dalmation Boy "Liberty's In Hot Pursuit" I was showing with 3 BOB (over specials every time) and just short his 2nd major (which are a pain to fine for Dal's) only been shown under 8 judges. He shows best for my handler than me and she had to go in for surgery and than other DPoop happened LOL....
She is so intuned to me thought it would be fun, but a green horn to Danes. I love how sensitive she is and her character. I am a front her and she moves nice with a nice front. Will see how she developes. Believe me if I was intent on showing when I found Molly, which was by accident, I would have went to the Best Like I did with Lou. My bad to for those stack pictures are bad, I know better.;)

I have to agree.
But I also agree that she has a very nice ear set! She's lovely - enjoy her.

Totally off topic but would you post a pic of your dalmation.
I have so rarely ever seen a well bred one other than in the movies. I would adore seeing yours!

Also agree!
All the dalmatians I ever see are fat and evil. I'd love to see a nice show dalmatian.

OH no me show my boy NO-WAY lmao....
Here he is at the Dalmatian Nationals taking a 3rd in sweeps. He was being a BRAT the next day for the show, but puppies will be puppies. I have his show photos but can't find them on my CPU thier on my wall and to lazy to scan.
He is lacking rear angulation, but he LOVES to show and the judges, more male love him!! He even shows his teeth on his own when the judge comes up it is quit funny. My handler is always afraid the judge may think he is trying to snarl. He is pushy and can be obnoxious but he is solid a rock on his temperment and it shows. He is a Caddy son (BISS CH Tuckaway Indian Run 2006 Stud dog of the year).

Holy...I am so used to seeing really haggard looking dalmatians - he's lovely. I like his gentle face and his markings.

I know I need to take him out and pray for a major at hernando cluster or Tampa Shows. thinkabc
I should take him to classes and try to get him to focus on my for really can't afford the $85 handling fee right now and I am not including board. butthead1
You should see the people that would play with there squekies before we went in for it turns him into a lunatic and well, can't get him settled to show.
Thanks for asking to see my brat child.

WOW! He is simply stunning. I am right there with Katie, I so rarely ... and by rarely I mean never.. see a beautiful Dalmatian. His spots are amazing and his structure is beautiful. I remember growing up I was in love with Dalmatians because of the whole fire truck thing and the movies but every time I saw them in real life I was let down. Good luck finishing him. He is amazing.

I lost my 14 year old daly earlier this year. She was the sweetest, most stubborn, dog I have ever owned !!! She was present for my daughter when she turned three, (daughter now 16) and was a great tea party guest, played dress up in Cindrerella dress up clothes, and had that adorable dalmatian grin to go with it.
Loved her, but don't think I'd ever have another !!!!
Your daly boy is strikingly beautiful !!

Wow, what a beautiful Dalmation. I agree with the Dane evaluations. She is a lovely pet, but isn't a show dog. I don't think the best stacking in the world would help that. There is a ton of other things that you can do with her, she looks like a love. It would be too late to crop her ears, but I am a floppy lover myself. Enjoy her and thanks for getting her out of a less then stellar situation.
