Some pups (like mine) eat very little each day while others eat lots every day. It makes me ponder a few things. If you have a dog who is inhaling a lot of food on a regular basis, does that mean you should be adjusting the type of nutrition/calories so the pup doesn't need to eat as much? On the other end, if you have a pup who eats very little, does that mean you should up the protein/fat so the pup is getting the nutrition needed? What do you think?

Very interesting thread. Zoey seems to be anorexic.

Our dogs on a raw diet.

Our girls if we let them would become rolly polly as they always want to eat.
To prevent this we limit the amount of food given.

Our 2 intact dogs sometimes eat very well and other times ok.
But I don't have to worry about them plumping up yet.
They both receive more than our girls but then again they are bigger.

I think how much a dog wants to eat depends on alot of things.
Some are just pigs. ;)
