Introducing Tempus

We are now the proud owners of a 6-week old beautiful merle boy Tempus. We brought him home last night. I am already so in love with him. He stole both of our hearts the moment we saw him.
I have been lurking here for quite a while now, and I would like to say thank you for all the advice that I have read. But reading and having him home with us is a whole different experience. I was prepared for all the "techinal" stuff of having a Dane. I wasn't prepared for all the quirky stuff that he does (which just makes him more loveable). He is very vocal(not in a "barky" way more grunting) and is a big dreamer. He is already starting to be a "mama's" boy....right now he is laying under the computer chair.
Tempus met the 3 ferrets last night and gave all of them kisses...I guess I don't have to worry about how they are going to get along. Thanks again to everyone here on DOL :)

Oh, What a darling puppy! I have a thing for merles, and just look at those cute little legs sticking out behind him. How precious!

OMG such a cute little fellow! I remember that age with my guy. All legs and lips! Lucky you with puppy breathe! You are the center of his world and it is the greatest gift. He will follow you, love on you and look at you like you are the best thing that has ever come along in his life, AND you are!

If I can give you one thought it would be exactly what I told my family. I turned into a broken record with my husband and son. When they thought Cooper was doing something "oh so cute" I'd ask them...do you think that will be "oh so cute" at 200 lbs? Because if it's okay now at 10 lbs, it should be okay later down the road, right? The first time I said it, he said "HE** no it won't be "oh so cute" at 200 lbs." So I said, then don't do it now...EINSTEIN... :P

I could just HEAR those wheels turning upstairs... and it was a lovely sound. :)
