Well Hello All!!
I have been getting this newsletter and coming to this site for a long time now and thought I should FINALLY introduce myself. I am married to a wonderful man and have 2 beautiful (2 legged) girls. We took in a female Dane 3 years ago from a couple who bought her "just for show" and so they could tell everyone they had a "GREAT DANE". She was kept on a 10 by 10 piece of cement in a backyard of a town house. Her elbows had no hair and her pads were unbelievable. Though the couple finally realized she needed a different home, and came to me for help. We were moving at that time to a different state and couldn't bear not to take her. We welcomed her with open arms and she has thanked us everyday, but the truth is we are the lucky ones! She is the best dog my husband or myself have ever owned. We have had her for 3 years now and couldn't imagine our life without her. She is truely one of the family!! I hope to read and talk to all of you, and thank you for making this such an enjoyable site!
Sincerely,
Jamie:)
