The Jax Dane Meetup Group will participate as a marching entry for the St. Mary's, GA Mardi Gras parade coming up in February 2012. If any DOLers are in the area - we would love to have you join us or even just meet and chat at the event.
When: Saturday, Feb 18, 2012 - Parade starts 10am
Where: Historic Downtown St. Marys (http://www.stmaryswelcome.com/)
18th Annual Mardi Gras Festival & Parade in St. Marys. The day features a parade, a street festival with entertainers and vendors. You may enjoy the annual chili cook-off or the pet costume contest! The day ends with a Mardi Gras Ball with great food & entertainment. This is where next year's King and Queen will be crowned.
The theme this year is "All That Jazz".
