I thought I'd tell folks about me and start getting to know everyone. I ran a rescue for many years until it started tearing my children up. They're young, have their mama's love for animals, and it hurt them to see the animals come in in such bad shape, especially if we lost one. But I missed working with the rescues. I loved being a team with them, healing them up and teaching them to be good pets again. I've always been interested in showing and in love with danes but didn't think I could do it yet. So I mostly sat mooning over dane websites. I kept going back to Diamond Danes because she was expecting a litter from two really beautiful dogs. Some friends of mine who had been heavy into showing and breeding encouraged me saying that they'd show me the ropes and that I'd be a fool not to at least ask about the pups I was looking at. Now I've got my frist dane and show dog and we're having a ball! Hudson's a brindle who just turned 7 months. I also kept the rescues who didn't get adopted out (I promised them a forever home even if I had to keep them myself!) so we've also got 3 cats, Luna, Ripper, and Shadow, a ferret, Mulder, a lab/dal, Cordy, and a gsd mix, Chewie. Life's never dull :7

Hi welcome to DOL. Good luck with Hudson. Remember to share the computer with the rest of your family. It seems once you find DOL it's hard to do that....
